The Dana Lynn

We offer trips starting at just $75 per person for up to 6 people.

All bait, rods, and rigs are included.
Bring your own beverages and food.

Inshore bottom fishing for seabass, flounder, tautog, croaker, weakfish, bluefish..etc are among the many inshore species we catch within 12 miles of the beach.

1/2 Day are 4 hours.
Full day are 8 hours.

IDeep water wreck fishing for Seabass, Flounder, and Tautog among others:

Full day charters are 8 and 12 hours.

IOffshore chunking and trolling trips for yellowfin and Bluefin tuna as well as wahoo and marlin:

Full day trips start at 12 hours and extend up to 24 hours or more for overnight trips to the offshore canyons.

We also offer deep water tile trips for Blueline and Golden tile fish.

About the Boat and Crew

The Dana Lynn is a 48 ft Carman Walkaround with a full cabin with head facilities.

It is powered by twin 500hp Yanmar diesels and is full equipped with the latest USCG safety equipment.

She also has a full set of state of the art electronics.

About the crew:

Capt Bob Smallwood is the owner operator of the Dana Lynn. He is a USCG licensed captain with decades of experience fishing local waters.

Capt Dave Russell of Russell fishing is also as captain of the Dana Lynn for weekend trips. Capt Dave also has decades of expereince fishing local waters.

The mate is Rob Haas who has worked on the Dana Lynn for the past 7 years maintaining the vessel and equipment as well as cutting bait, rigging and doing whatever is needed to make your trip enjoyable.

  • I will need a 20% down deposit (balance paid in cash).
  • The captain reserves the right to cancel the trip in the event of weather or mechanical breakdown.
  • You will need to bring your food and drink.
  • You will also need white soled shoes, sun protection, a hat and sunglasses and food.
  • I will supply the bait and plenty of ice for the fish.
  • NO HARD LIQUOR! We are out to fish and have a great day.
  • The Captain will cancel the trip and return to dock if anyone gets unruly.

Please don’t forget the Mate he work for tips (the going rate is 15% to 20% of the trip).

We are located at slip G-8 in Indian River Marina.
